Without doing too much research, it seems like the response you quotes brings up more questions than answers. Googling immunity, one of the first results states, "Immunity is acquired actively when a person is exposed to foreign substances and the immune system responds. " So it'd be interesting to know if the doctor in that article thinks masks don't protect people from being exposed to foreign substances..... The obvious answer is that you can't live your whole life trying to escape a virus. And wearing your mask for one second, but taking it off a few feet in the door, etc. doesn't help anyone. It's purely madness. Masks can be helpful in certain scenarios. Forcing the general population to wear them while going about their day and saying when they can take them off is not helpful and probably actually counterproductive. --- "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." - Dr Seuss ...
