Not to say America is bad, but that is a massive issue for me and I really dislike it. I'm in Chicago and jaywalking is fairly common lol, it's becoming more biker/commuter friendly each year tbh. but yeah our healthcare system needs work. you'd get paid a lot more as a nurse here, that's for sure, even after funding retirement and your living expenses. i was mostly just offering the States as an alternative to Germany/France since those are not likely to be much better than the UK in regards to the kind of statism we're talking about.
