This is wrong on so many levels. My trashy neighbors had 3 pits for just that reason, one got loose and attacked my dog and i, and now im suing them even further into poverty. Baffjngly they have a mortgage on a house that doesn't have a single window intact meaning they have insurance so cha ching, bitches.

That sure worked out well for them, bet they're glad they had those dogs to protect their hut

I should probably clarify that context dictates, and that maybe focusing too much on a "guard dog" is me getting away from my original point which is that the breed of dog you get should be dictated by what purpose you are trying to serve by getting that dog.

Living in a residential neighborhood and chaining a dog outside in a yard it could potentially escape from and teaching it to attack anything that moves is in fact an improper way to raise a dog, I would consider that person too inexperienced and unfit to own that dog or any other type of dog really.

If someone thinks that there are no reasons to have a dog for guard purposes, in any context, that just proves my point that there are even less reasons for the average person to own a Pitbull, Doberman, Rottweiler, etc. Whoever owns that Pitbull in the video got one for the wrong reasons.
