Well-said, though I doubt that's going to stop the conservatrolls from trying to perpetuate the fundamentalist narrative of gays being evil and deserving of harm.

It should be noted that just because the bible doesn't support something doesn't mean it authorizes harm.
Basically the stance the bible takes on homosexually from a textual view is no different than the stance it takes on having sex with your girlfriend or remarrying because you no longer love your wife. These things are seen as normal in modern society but textually the bible views them as sins.

But historically the bible has been used as a tool for harm and hate not because it authorizes that to sinner but in spite of sinners being who Jesus died for. Basically Jesus was a pacifist so the likes of the crusades and such are far far from his teachings.
