| Dikitain 04/03/21 2:47:02 PM #8: | The contracting firm I was working for had to lay-off a few people back in September, including one of my friends from a previous job who I still talk to regularly and one of my team members. While I do think it was partially their fault, some of it was the company they were contracting for (The one I currently work for) promised to spin up two more teams for projects, only to cancel that after they had already hired a bunch of college graduates. Even though I wasn't even close to being considered as one of the people they were going to get rid of, it still convinced me to start looking for full time positions since I had already been laid off back in 2019 at a job I worked almost 12 years at. Well, that and I had no desire to work on the project my team was getting ready for. --- After 16 years, I have decided my signature will NOT be about my job!
