Like, we probably do riskier things every single day. With vaccines though, it seems we calculate our risk tolerance very different it seems. It's something I find interesting Imo it is not of chances being low, but of better options being available. For example: You can choose vaccine#1 with 5/1000000 chance it will kill you or you can wait a few more months for vaccine#2 to be available with 1/1000000 chance it will kill you. I'd rather chose #2 as I can wait a few more months without going out for those improved odds.
