Can't say the dude didn't deserve anything he got given the background but the idea of adolescents watching this content on a regular basis makes me uncomfortable for a multitude of reasons.
For starters taking the whole "it's a prank bro!" algorithm-friendly shtick to literal vigilante justice is gonna have disastrous consequences on impressionable viewers - we've already seen news stories covering teen Youtubers getting killed doing "pranks in the hood gone wrong", doing a version of that that specifically targets dangerous/deviant individuals will only make things worse.
Then there's just the ugliness of it all. The phone call part of this video was so unbelievably painful to watch - idk how much the girlfriend might have enabled the predator or not but it's just soul-sucking hearing a life get ruined in realtime.
If this guy didn't go after kids then his life wouldn't have to get ruined
