That's a pretty disgusting defense, tbh. Even if stars, athletes, etc, had been grooming minors "for decades" (which I find hard to believe because prior to social media there wasn't the same access afforded to offenders), that's not really an excuse and it's even shittier when you consider the guy is basically a children's entertainer (albeit a c-list one).
