If I had to guess, Ayer has been on record about how much studio execs made him change the movie and how he had a lot more ideas. So they probably want him to create a 4 hour horror show. However, I feel like I trust Ayer a lot more to make a decent film without WB exec's notoriously obtrusive fingers in it than I do Zack "I think comic book superheroes suck" Snyder. --- I stream sometimes.
