| Zeus 03/07/21 4:09:27 AM #37: | Is Mead trolling up a storm again? LOL! At any rate, when they announced the roster cut, most people were annoyed because that's a massive step down. And, like others have noted, there wasn't really any reason for it, since they had mostly just re-used assets anyway. Otherwise the game lost me pretty quickly and I haven't gone back yet. Part of it is that it takes a while to get going, but the starters are also really lousy which, again, was a massive step back since Su/Mo had three starters I liked and this gen it was a matter of which do I think I can live with (which is the same thing I disliked about gen 2). In general, the fact that Pokemon has continued to push the story elements, cutscenes, etc, over the exploration elements hasn't really sat well with me, although I'll admit that they've done a much better job with the "companion"-type NPCs, starting with X/Y. --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ...
