Topic	What is the point of lawyers?
Chunkey Simmons 02/27/21 1:51:19 PM #1:	If you're the plaintiff trying to sue, In most cases it seems pointless because, sure you might win the lawsuit, but lawyer fees will get in the way of your earnings and you will probably break even, best case scenario. Why sue if you're going to be paying a shit ton of money back to your lawyer? If you're the defendant and being accused of a crime, then sure, I can see the reason to hire a lawyer. But even then, would you rather pay $50,000 or do a year in jail? If you're facing murder charges, then yeah by all means hire you're a lawyer. But seems like doing jail time, unless it's an absurdly high amount of time, is the cheaper option than hiring a lawyer. What do you guys think? --- The n00b of MBH and CE - and proud of it!
