Veedrock- posted... 1) There's no example of this on modern systems. Even the Wii, which shut down its store in 2019 after giving over a year's notice, still lets you download purchased games. Plus, as long as you keep a copy of the game locally of course you still own it and can play it. How's that any different than keeping a disc? I think one difference if that you can still keep buying discs. Even after it shuts down... Veedrock- posted... 2) You can do this with digital too; in fact you can play the game on two consoles at the same time, something you can't do with physical. You're not restricted to same household either, if desired. Other than some weird workarounds, I havent heard anything about sharing games on switch digitally. The physical thing works for me, though. When I visit home, Im able to share with my little brother. I do it a lot.
