That's why I'm always excited for LNs or Manga I read to someday get anime adaptations so that those who refuse to read can experience there glory as well. Then having it visualized with with some good VAs and an OST is a much appreciated plus as well. It's funny since you're reasoning for not liking anime with other source materials is the same reason I like em. I like not waiting 5+ years for a series to never finish. The existence of Manga and LNs won't stop studios from trying to get creative and produce their own original stuff. I'm not disappointed that it's originally an anime.
