In all honesty, I find this vague and ambiguous way of writing to just be lazy as hell.
I really don't want to shit on the game or anything since I'm well aware not everyone hated the ending like I did, and I'm sorry, but the 6th trial just left a foul taste in my mouth, even weeks later.
It even made me look at the past games very differently, and... well, not in a good way.

I absolutely loved the first three games (yes, even UDG, I really enjoyed that game despite how different it was) so it's just such a shame for the series to end in such a disappointing way, especially since the anime had some excellent closure for the characters and the series as a whole, despite its issues. Not sure why they had to back and ruin all that in V3...
