I love Square Hammer, but it definitely feels a bit too repetitive. There are only two verses in the song and they're not terribly long, pretty sure each verse is shorter than the chorus... which plays in full three times, so the song is mostly just the chorus being repeated.

And the chorus itself is fairly repetitive:

Are you on the square
Are you on the level
...
That you're on the square
That you're on the level

So while the chorus only plays thrice, the lines are similar enough that it can feel like it's playing six times. Which, combined with the song's short runtime and minimal amount of verses, can easily lead to feelings of repetition.

...mind you I still love the song based almost entirely on the strength of said chorus. It does what it does perfectly, just without a lot of variety.
