At the intermission now and the evidence is hugely mounting that it was Shinguji who did it. Kokichi's account of falling through the floor boards of another room proves that the killer took the precaution of setting the trap in every room and then, as Shinguji did, let someone else pick the specific one so that they look like they picked the specific one that was trap sprung. I can't see how it could be anyone else right now, but that's so boring if so.
Not sure why they would kill Tenko, or I suppose anyone who volunteered to be the Maya. Was it just to make people waste time argue over the second murder so time is up on the first? That's dumb. It's obvious the killer is the same, there's be no reason to set a trap in the empty rooms if there was no first murder to conduct a seance for. I'm not even sure what his motivation would be. Just wanting to use his beloved dog cage thing? Something regarding the resurrection ritual that he wanted to stop, or maybe he wanted to bring someone other than Amami back? But who and why? My head is hurting thinking about what it might be. ---
