Cut out all of the most popular post S1 characters, not even just Goldy Pond stuff. Jump straight to the arc where lots of people lost interest and started dropping the manga?? Like I wasn't one of those people, but that absolutely WAS the vibe as the manga was ongoing. And it would be one thing if you did so and came out swinging, but I can't find a single person who doesn't think they're handling this part very poorly on its own merit regardless of the jump.
