Starting the trial. I don't think I've ever been at a loss for ideas as I am here in regards to whodunnit. Even when I turn out to be horribly wrong, which is all the time lol, I at least have some theory-crafting in regards to who it might be.
The only real thing I see here is that
Shuichi's flashforward comments about being betrayed really indicates that it was Kaito. I also have a small suspicion that it was Tojo, just because I find the curtain around the gym sus, but I really have no idea otherwise who it might be.
I'm also confused if I'm supposed to take the
ridiculously cartoony stripped clean skeleton at face value or if Ryoma's body was somehow whisked away during the pirahna attack and they replaced it with a halloween store plastic skeleton. Some things about the murder I think are true.
Something other than the pirahnas were in the pirahna cage. The logical conclusion is that it would be Ryoma's body, but I don't understand why they wouldn't have eaten him already then. I think he was drowned in the sink in his lab bathroom. In some way a hoist system was used between the bathroom and the gym hall, presumably to carry his body. The floatation thing in the pool might be relevant, but I'm not sure how or why it wasn't added to the truth bullets. Probably something to "discover" in a Hangman's gambit or something.
I feel like there might be a detail of the crime discovered at the trial that proves the culprit had to be someone not at the show.
Also, I'm kind of annoyed that the game is playing the
"A magician never reveals their secrets" trope. It's a class trial with our lives on the line. Why the fuck do I have to waste time discovering how the show was performed when I could just be told?
Also, this is entirely unrelated, but I really fucking love Shinguji.
Edit: If it was the body in the fish tank, then the killer would have to be someone who was not in the entomologist room after 9pm. So,
Kokichi, Tojo, Iruma, Kaito, Harukawa. One of those. I think I'm leaning that way.
