Yup, totally the wind turbines fault. Even though they provide maybe 15% of the power, it is all their fault. Not the other 85% that comes from gas and coal. Nope, strictly that damn green energy.

Honestly, I can't understand the freakouts. Live in the suburban chicago area and have been through winter blackouts before. Is it mostly a lack of blankets and clothes that are causing such an issue to stay home? Seen people here talking about using their cars, and seems like such a worse idea. Carbon Monoxide poisoning is real and people tend to be idiots about it. Keep a window cracked and the tailpipe cleared at a minimum. But it might only buy you a day or so, if the gas pipes are frozen and you can't refill at the local station.
I wasn't saying that all this was the wind turbines' fault. I was just adding that the wind turbines were frozen in addition to what the poster I quoted mentioned.

My car is fully electric and doesn't emit carbon monoxide.
