I think it was better to have more effects, especially once they nerfed the Balance into the ground and buffed Spear to compete with it. Yes, you can simplify it to fishing for Balance but what made it interesting was trying to line up good Royal Roads and Spreads. And yeah I personally dislike the amount of oGCD spam you have to do in the first few GCDs to get a fast and strong Divination, I'll honestly take RNG fishing for spread balance over that. --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! ...
