Maybe because you don't live in a nation where you have people armed with knives and other deadly weapons -- most of which are being illegally carried -- running around your streets. The murder rate in the Netherlands (iirc that's where you're from, if I'm wrong feel free to provide your nation's number) is 0.59. In the US it's 4.96. You don't view self-defense as a necessity because you live in a safe-as-fuck nation where you don't need self-defense. You have the luxury of not believing in self-defense because you don't need self-defense.

If YT wasn't already policing its content, I might agree. That's no longer the case, though. However, more broadly, when you're either profiting from illegal activities or facilitating profit from illegal activities, you can get in trouble. And even the media can be held to account at times for covering content (particularly when it comes to libel), there's no blanket protection for covering or hosting something.
