I had been separated from my ex-wife for like 7 months (there was zero no hope of reconciliation). I hopped on Tinder for literally 1 weekend when I felt shitty. Ended up talking to one person but decided Tinder wasn't for me almost immediately so just sent her my number, told her I was deleting the app but didn't actually expect her to contact me. Took a few months for us to get together given my situation but we kept talking throughout it. It's a little over 4 years later now and we are getting married in April (delayed from December due to COVID).
