Race is a critical part of the relevant context, here. It's far from the only determining factor, and it's not as absolute as "white people saying it is different from black people saying it," but it's a significant enough factor that that's a reasonable simplification of the matter (especially where, even if we ignore race, this guy is not a part of any of the cultures or communities where it would be acceptable).

I agree with some of what you say but at the end of the day we as non African-American Americans as a country still have a hard time dealing with and addressing matters that deal with racial inequalities and that's been that way for a very long time because the fact is if we admit that people who were enslaved and their descendants were treated horribly then we as a country are admitting that we're all in some way guilty for keeping that going.

Most of us didn't own slaves, didn't perpetuate this notion of supremacy and privilege but we are recipients of that system whether we agree that we are or not.

Unless we're applying for a job as an example , that involves jumping, dancing or singing, what obstacles or stereotypes do we as White people face in America. None that I can think of!

If a Black kid does poorly on a test for whatever reason, that failure gets bestowed on the next Black person who takes that test but Whites rarely deal with that in that if a White person does poorly on a test, that doesn't get passed on to the next White person who takes that test.

When Black kids do poorly in school it's attributed to the masses that these people are inferior and that's the reason they do poorly but if a White person does poorly, they just had a bad day and that doesn't get passed to other Whites who come after.
