Topic	Working retail builds character

You have no idea what I mean when I say that I've seen plenty of people turn around and be shitty? You even admit that just "most" former retail workers turn out sympathetic. You know that means that some of them turn out shitty, right? SiO4 posted... True! It's almost always the older/boomers that treat people like shit. This was typically my experience working food service in college. People my age were polite, but if someone was going to be an entitled cow, it was going to be a boomer. I worked at a coffee shop and there was one old hag whose response to "Hi, how are you today?" was "Skinny latte." Old ladies and middle aged men were the worst.
