| andylt 02/02/21 8:01:13 AM #33: | Plenty of these games could be entirely forgotten (13Sen, Fall Guys), or overshadowed by sequels. Of those you listed, Animal Crossing, Tsushima, TLOU, Doom, Yakuza and Ori could be surpassed by future entries in that world. Even FF7R could be interesting depending on how that goes- if future entries are better it could be forgotten, if the next ones are terrible people could either look fondly upon it or disregard the whole series (like people do with the Star Wars sequels- 7 was received well at the time but now many write off the whole trilogy), and if no other entry ever comes it'll probably be fine. Honestly I find it difficult to even imagine that far ahead anyway, seems impossibly far away. --- Slowly becoming a Final Fantasy aficionado. Just finished: FFVI!
