Topic	Best "What the FUCK" reveal in gaming?
AzurexNightmare 01/29/21 2:27:39 AM #36:	Gonna reiterate some of the ones I've seen in this thread and post my own. I'll be listing the quick ones first that I already saw in the topic. These aren't numbered by mindfucks, just numbered randomly as they came to my head. 1. inFAMOUS 1 Kessler being Cole was pretty nuts. Great set up for a sequel as well. 2. Silent Hill 2 3. Bioshock 1 4. Nier Automata about the humans and the fact that even aliens invaded. Crazy shit. Not to mention Nier even existing after Drakengard 3. Nier is such a good fucking series. It always will be. 5. This deserves a mention because it's old and it's taken for granted and technically it does happen in video games. Everyone and their mother knows this already but Trunks being the son of Vegeta and Bulma, and the whole cast dying to the androids was pretty hard core for a series where everyone always comes back. This was insane. It's old now so we all know it but this is still nuts if you think about it. 6. MGS2 7. So many plot points of MGS4 that aren't necessarily good but are still a massive mindfuck. Naomi suddenly saying she has cancer at the end was fucking stupid though. Too much talking already and it was done during a time where more entertaining shit was going on. The ONLY time I have felt bad for Otacon was for what happened to Emma. That shit makes tears come out. But Sniper Wolf and Naomi are just straight up hoes. Who gives a fuck about their "relationship" with Otacon? They had more interesting relationships with Big Boss and Solid Snake respectively. Emma though? Fuck... That was rough..... 8. Far Cry 5 ending 9. Assassins Creed 2. To those of you who say AC3 is that really a mindfuck? Because Haytham is a GREAT character but isn't it obvious from the beginning that he's a Templar? Or is that revealed later? Or do you guys mean the intro. 10. Getting to play as Vergil's human half in DMC5, even if the combat sucks, is amazing for his story and for a fan favorite character. Being able to see what he felt/feels as a human, and admitting his wrongs, it's just very nice. Being forced to play as him in subsequent playthroughs can suck but I'm still glad he was in. I never thought we'd get to see a human Vergil. Who the hell did?
