| Topic | When maxing the sphere grid, I only worry about the empty sphere spots right? |

I recommend you check it out and read through it pretty thoroughly before you even start the "maxing" process. You have to make a couple of choices, because as tote_all said, it's not technically possible to max every stat value. It's been a long time since I did my own run through this, but I think you can max Luck and it will be identical in function to maxing 2 of the other stats, which would then only need some minimum value like 40. But that's perhaps not necessary if you do the 9999HP route instead of the 99,999HP? I dunno. It's fucking complicated. Use the guide, and generally don't worry about it until you reach the point where you're farming the spheres, which will be very very late-game. But I would strongly recommend you get a piece of paper and start making a checklist of all the +4 nodes you fill in.
