Makes sense. I use CSP for basically everything. Its nice but I dont know if it supports anything like symbols. I could probably fake it by saving some raster drawings and then importing them, but eh. I like the hand drawn approach personally. I got really excited since I finally learned how timing charts work. (Well, in theory. Actually making and using them will come with practice)

CSP felt so alien to me after being a Photoshop power user for like 10 years. But wanting to learn animation drove me to CSP. Photoshop is bad at animating imo.
I could be totally wrong, but didn't you mention you did 3D work a while back?

I actually have a copy of Manga Studio on my computer, but I've never really used it outside of setting up tricky poses every once in a while. I didn't know you could animate in it though. I should put in some effort to learn a bit more about it at some point.

My main gripe about working in Photoshop for animation is that you can't do any camera movements, and that there's a lot more time investment when it comes to making sure look just right. I'm someone who likes to edit things over and over constantly, so I really had to learn how to adapt to a different approach when I was using it.
