The point I was making is it is very very very small groups that start these "movements" and I don't know if you noticed, but twitter is a bunch of people trying to be trending and on top of the latest thing. It isn't a bunch of people in a vacuum dealing out their well weighted opinions, it's a bunch of people who you literally only hear if the algorithm promotes them and the algorithm only promotes them if they engage in the hashtag.
