I never understood the whole gaming screenshots or clips thing. My best gaming buddy sends me clips of his games all the time and I'm like "okay...." and when we are playing and I do something cool he always says I should have clipped it. Its like "what the hell would I do with it"

I'm sort of in the same boat, I almost never screencap or clip unless there's something really, really cool (usually because I plan to use it as a cover image or profile pic). But then again, I'm not a teenager who is going to post all my clips to my YouTube channel to show off to an audience that doesn't actually exist, so I'm not really the target audience for that sort of feature anyway.

Though I did screencap when I found guards in Greedfall pissing on a wall, because I thought it was funny and wanted to show it to a friend of mine. And the one time when I was playing DC Universe Online and there was a glitch that made it so that a dog wound up standing on his hind legs to use a computer console.

One friend of mine actually used to have a Myspace page where he'd post screenshots from the endings of game, to sort of "prove" that they'd been beaten, and then got everyone he knew to contribute to it (I was basically his go-to Xbox guy for a while). He just thought it was kind of a neat idea to see how many unique games we could beat as a group. He eventually switched off to a Facebook page instead when Myspace started dying, though he kind of bothering with it shortly afterwards.
