Anecdotally, when I was in middle school and highschool I got hit on by women quite alot, had them approach me and ask for my number.

By college I didn't find much attention from them. By then I learned I had a disease and at the time didn't realize I was super underweight. Was just 120-130 lbs. Looking back at old photos is a shock.

After a few years I am now about 170 and have been noticing more attention.
However, this one girl I really liked didn't like me back and I suspect it is cause she wants a bigger dude (not fat but not skinny). Otherwise we got along super well, vibes well, enjoyed each other company. But that is just a guess.

So it matters what stage of life. If you are younger, I feel it is more ok to be skinny.
As you age, you need to bulk a bit or your will be a ghost. At least anecdotally that is what it seems like.

But boogie size fat dudes, undesirable...
Then again, he did have a wife...
