Music anime like BanG Dream and D4DJ that motion-capture for the performances are a great use of CG in anime, and those two series make the CG look good outside of the performances too. Anime like Ex-Arm and Berserk 2016, which clearly only used CG over 2D because it would be easier and cost less, are a completely different story. CyricZ posted... Oh that's just the worst. A 2D-animated character having a conversation with a 3D-animated character? Why would they think that's a good idea?
