Hey, Im from the South and I just wanted to pop in and say that after the Civil War, William Sherman went on a terror spree throughout the south to terrify them into submission by killing all the men he could find, he would kill all the livestock at farms and threw them down the water well to poison the supply, he and his men would freely rape every woman they came across, and they burned fields and crops that led to a mass starvation. Of course the confederacy were bad guys but its erroneous to say the south wasnt punished.
