Additionally, its not like the original hasnt aged well and needs an update for the younger generation. They can just watch the original, and its like its still new. Also Mulan wasnt great, but its passable. At least its clearly distinct from the original, its not trying to be the same. Thats good. Ironically the original holds it back as all the Wuxia action needs to be totally family friendly, and it feels impactless as a result. But you know, its doing something new, it looks pretty decent, some alright performances. The witch was... an odd story choice. But Id take it over TLK any day! --- I just decided to change this sig.
