| Topic | Series where you've played multiple games, but aren't a fan of? |
| davidponte 01/04/21 5:47:23 PM #24: | I'm struggling to decide whether I define fan as 'someone who enjoys the games' or 'someone who cares about the series and will participate in the community'. For the former, Assassin's Creed is the one that comes to mind. I played all of them up to Syndicate, but have no interest in playing any of them again despite knowing that the series has kind of turned a corner and that the new games are considered pretty good. For the latter, Pokemon and Fire Emblem both come to mind. I play all the Pokemon games and enjoy them, but don't care at all about any of the extra stuff that comes with it and don't participate in any online stuff. I just complete every new game, update my living dex, and then move on until there are new Pokemon to catch. For Fire Emblem, I usually play any new game that comes out, but I honestly couldn't tell you much about it and don't particularly care for completing every optional conversation or story part of whatever. I just like the genre of game and it's a pretty approachable one of those. --- I was the final Undisputed Champion in UCA history, but azuarc was our Guru Champion! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
