And if FF7R struggles in a year that's this weak at the top, that's probably about all it amounts to. The difference is that Aerith used to nip at Sonic's heels, and it's not like she's THAT far behind him even now. Sonic would be projected to get 56-57% on Aerith based on direct matches with Zelda, which is ironically what Sonic got on Tifa in 2005 and I imagine she'd be the favorite to beat him now.
