Youre looking too much into a thing the movie barely addresses because its not an important part of the story. Its just to add extra angst/give Diana a reason to maybe connect with this man later on in movie 3. The intention wasnt to have her rape him repeatedly ffs, its just silly superhero magic --- "You don't have any thoughts of your own...
