Twitch is already currently going through DMCA hell with even the top channels receiving strikes not only from playing copyrighted music on stream, but also from playing games that have copyrighted music in them, like GTA or any modern game that uses a popular song.

Twitch, instead of working with creators and possibly solving the issues, like Facebook has by buying licenses to music to allow their streamers to use it, has essentially decided to tell its creators, "damn that sucks, make sure you delete years worth of clips and play games muted so that you don't get fucked, sucks to be you". It's not like its some small indie company, Amazon could deal with this if they cared.

People are receiving strikes for five year old thirty second clips, so the entire platform has essentially been forced to delete every single one of their VODs.

Where it gets even crazier is that people have received strikes for streams in which they were walking around outside or in a store and a song was playing in the background, of which they couldn't have possibly had any control over.
