There's an attack called Stealth Rock where it acts as a battlefield hazard, and basically if your Pokemon is weak to rock attacks, it loses 25% of it's HP instantly as soon as it switches in, before any attacks happen. With Pokemon doubly weak to rock like Moltres, they take a whopping 50% instantly. Half of their HP just for switching in.
