Topic	Ahem, attn Fire Emblem 7: The Blazing Blade fans.

It really is rather amazing how Lyn is the face of FE7 and gets so much more stuff across the series (this figure, playable in FE Warriors, tons of variations in FE Heroes) even though she's not the actual main character (Eliwood is), she basically becomes irrelevant after her story ends, and you can even outright skip her story on later playthroughs. She also has the worst Legendary weapon out of all three of them. FE7 was the first entry in the franchise that was localized outside of Japan, so aside from Melee fans coming in already asking "aRe MaRtH aNd RoY iN tHiS gAmE?" like a broken record, Lyn's story in FE7 was their introduction to a franchise that they later grew to enjoy. She may not be the main character of that game, but for many Fire Emblem fans, she was their first that they ever fought alongside, and that gives her a special place in their hearts.
