I think some people just like to make fun of bandwagoners who suddenly discover a passion for something because of a tv show.I wasn't even thinking of that series. (I need to watch it.) Is there a wrong way to be introduced to chess though? I started learning chess about six years ago because I didn't like what video games were offering at the time. I would watch game breakdowns daily and still do. I think it's cool that popular streamers with average ability get featured online and have tournaments with IMs and GMs commenting.
