But based on what Black people have embraced anime I a way that no other culture has. Like Asian cultures always grew up with it like we grew up with western cartoons. I ride for all the cartoons I grew up with. White people, for years, quietly loved anime. Type cast into the weaboo stereotype for the most part, very few people were open about it. But then black people just seem to eat the shit up openly as for fucking proud. Not remotely afraid of who cares if they make anime skits, wear anime clothes. Talk about it all the time. And I cant think to where or when it started but they definitely have made it a lot more mainstream to enjoy anime as a whole. Thats what Ive seen anyway. I fucking hate anime so I dont pay that much attention to it but Ive definitely paid enough to notice it become its own thing in black culture because that side of it Im more familiar with. --- Like 90% of CE topics are the same way lol.
