The only open world game I loved in recent memory was Red Dead 2, and I loved it for the story and characters, not the world or gameplay. Oh, and Spider-Man, because it's motherfucking Spider-Man. Witcher 3 was okay, despite it being pretty overrated, in my opinion, both in story and gameplay. I'm interested in Cyberpunk 2077 though, just because that world looks interesting. There has to be a good narrative in any game I play, or I lose interest quickly. I didn't like BotW, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Far Cry, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc. --- Official Fujin of the Mortal Kombat 11 board.
