There are many things one shouldnt have to do. But we do it anyway because there are bad people who dont act with our best interests in mind.

This woman basically did the equivalent of demanding someone stops smoking on the path shes walking. She has no authority in the situation, its a public area, and all she did is endanger herself when simply spending some additional seconds doing something else would have been fine.

You lock your doors because thieves and robbers exist. You dont leave them unlocked because you shouldnt have to.

So by that logic, if I left my door unlocked and someone came in and beat my up, its my fault for leaving my door unlocked? Ok.
