In my experience it doesn't matter what the judge thinks personally either. Yes, court stacking matters and loading courts with judges that have certain political beliefs happens and impacts justice, but they all seem equally annoyed when dealing with B.S. arguments no matter who it is coming from. Trump is only going to get away with filing these things for so long. I think the only reason you aren't reading about sanctions is because you generally have to give the other party notice that the motion will be filed and the time hasn't ran yet.
