My wife is constantly asking me how to fix things and some things I can do with a little bit of trial and error other things I'm just like, "I gotta google that shit." It's somehow a real skill to have if you didn't grow up around the internet like we did. I'm sure your sons generation will grasp it almost across the board but there will always be computer illiterate people out there. I'm only 31 and I still run into people around my age or even younger who need me to help with tech stuff that I literally google and just send them the link. Takes about twenty seconds of my time if the issue is more obscure. Trying to break my mom's habit of playing 20 questions whenever she tries to talk to me about an actor or actress and she can't remember the name. No, I don't remember that one spy show that ran for two seasons in the late 90s starring the guy with dark hair... let me google it. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
