YOu just said that things are all a matter of philosophy, that everyone is entitled to an opinion.

However, also consider that someone telling a transgender person what gender they actually are is itself denying them of their opinion. HOw does that jive with everyong being allowed their opinion, when one's own denies that of another?

If a person is actively trying to deny whatever gender someone feels they are, then yes, that is transphobic. It's literally the definition of phobia that it's a fear or aversion to something, not something physical.
