I mean, a bit off topic, but over a year ago my health insurance literally tried to force me to go on disability. They contacted me over the phone and I said no, but they filed the paperwork anyway (didn't find out till like 6 months later).
Luckily I had to fill out paperwork and send it back in (how I found out), but that took along time to arrive because I
had moved.

I called up the unemployment people and sorted it out, but even then they basically said it would just be easier if I signed the papers and became disabled, even though I didn't want to get on disability (I have enough savings for now and I plan on working again). If I had not been so adamant though, or more easily swayed, I would be on disability as well.

It's kinda messed up in a way because I'm sure many people who don't need it are on it, since as you get older it's just not worth it to go through all that effort to NOT get something lol.

They were seriously arguing that I couldn't work due to my eyesight/diabetes etc, I mean how crappy is that, trying to convince someone they can't freaking work again. Maybe they meant well but it was seriously depressing.

Anyway, my point is it's not exactly a thing to shame people ever, and more power to him/anyone who can try and find joy/happiness in such a life. If they find a way to live rent free etc and can spend money on games etc, it's a little more happiness in the world, and that is never a bad thing.
