I think the laughs and crowd pops were way bigger than any laugh from the monologue. Literally should have chopped that bit by two thirds. It was funny for a second, but wow. I respect Bill for going hard though. It wasn't his hardest, but he had some nice swings. Also this is to know one in particular, but if you bring the terms 'punching down' or 'punching up' into a comedy discussion, into a medium that's meant to provoke or challenge you, your opinion gets thrown out.
