Topic	Do tornado sirens mean a touchdown is confirmed?
Eevee-Trainer 10/10/20 10:04:42 PM #6:	It varies. Touchdown or a clear funnel cloud is an obvious cause for a warning, but these can be hard to find at night or when the tornado is rain-wrapped. If radar has some strong indicators of one (e.g. circulating air, unusual wind speeds, a debris cloud, a so-called "hook echo"), a warning might be issued for those reasons, just in case one is there that no one has spotted.
